New Colorectal Surgeon Joins Hazard ARH Medical Staff
Hazard ARH Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Taranjeet Kaur, MD to its medical staff. Dr. Kaur specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of anorectal and colorectal conditions of the colon, rectum and anus.
As a board certified general surgeon and fellowship trained colorectal surgeon, Dr. Kaur can diagnose and treat conditions and diseases that involve the health of the intestines including colon, rectal and anal cancer. Conditions she treats include colon and rectal cancer including polyps, which are precancerous or masses.
Dr. Kaur completed her fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas and her surgical residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Kaur will also offer these services: colectomy, colostomy, laparoscopic/robotic surgery, hemorrhoidectomy, lleal pouch anal anastomosis (J-Pouch), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD )surgery, internal sphincterotomy, rectopexy, resection and colonoscopy.
